Bethany & Daniel: a destination wedding in Todi, Umbria
Some weddings stay with you. Bethany and Daniel’s does.
They chose Todi — a medieval hill town in the heart of Umbria — for their symbolic ceremony at the Monastery of Santa Margherita. Rolling hills, golden-hour light, a sunset that did half the work on its own.
The couple flew in with their guests for a full Italian journey through Umbria’s countryside. Heartfelt speeches, quiet glances, the kind of day where everything clicks into place.
As their wedding videographer, I filmed two solos happening at the same time: Bethany getting ready on one side, Daniel on the other. Both nervous. Both ready.
Their wedding planner handled every detail, from the ceremony setup to the reception. All they had to do was show up and live it.
This teaser is a glimpse of what a destination wedding in Italy can feel like.
